As a reward for doing well at school, Horse gives Indian and Cowboy VIP tickets to the agricultural fair, but Horse slips and falls, gets amnesia and forgets where he put the tickets. This is the starting point to another episode of this unusually nonsensical rural series, to whose delirious imagination is difficult to resist. Patar & Aubier gained international notoriety in 2012 with their feature “Ernest & Celestine”, but they've been developing these mind-blowing characters for 30 years, which are characterised by a sense of humour that combines a somewhat innocent and naïve madness with a typical Belgian poetic and surrealist quality. Since 1996, Curtas Vila do Conde has been screening their most iconic creation in its competition, namely the “Pic Pic André Shoow” or this “Panique Au Village”. (MD)
