A deserted beach on a gray afternoon. In a slow movement, the camera reveals a shadow on the beach, which is after all two, and finally three figures walking on the beach and facing the sea. Integrated in the album “Água-Má” by the guitarist Filho da Mãe, which refers to the state of the sea when it is inappropriate for humans, “Praia” is a film by Luís Sobreiro and João Diogo Marques, which seeks to create an ambiguous tension between the tranquility that the sea suggests and looks and the dangers it often hides, in a kind of metaphor of human relationships.
