MV, 00:04:57In Sinkane’s words, “Everybody” is a “hymn to inclusion”, dedicated to all “men, women and children who struggle against oppression everywhere in the world.” In order to interpret Sinkane’s message in images, Bruno Ferreira shows groups of people dancing in the streets, in the houses and in the Tuiuti Paradise Samba School in Rio de Janeiro. More than a music video, the filmmaker proposes a documentary about the people who he filmed in the process, for him the true heroes of the film, for the way they fight every day for their dignity and freedom. The result, bold and moving, reminds us that music, passion or dance are also ways of struggle and resistance against all forms of repression. Bruno Ferreira has participated several times in the music video competition of Curtas, and in 2018 his film "Pas de Confettis" was selected for the National Competition. (MD)
