Short fiction film written and directed by Bobbie Peers, Norwegian filmmaker who participates in Curtas Vila do Conde for the first time. “To Plant A Flag” brings us a fictional story of two American astronauts sent by NASA, who meet in Iceland in 1969. The ideal place because of the similarities with the lunar environment in preparation for a future voyage to the Moon. Despite of all the advanced technology they possess, and the great difficulty of their daily missions, their greatest obstacle during their preparation was a shepherd who robbed them of their most precious possession, the American flag. After the robbery of the precious flag, the astronauts enter in a spiral of exhausting events that takes both to the limit.
