A mysterious female character crosses the woods until she comes across a place that looks familiar. At once she starts digging and finds a body which surprisingly comes back to life. Turns out that these two are lovers for over 200 years and can hear each other's thoughts. Still a little dizzy, it takes a while for him to remember who he is and, above all, to remember who she is and their common past. The film gently unravels this mystery, drawing parallels between different times and conflicting feelings. This original approach is also a meditation upon love's timelessness and mutual dependency, one's survival, but also upon memory. After having screened “Luminita” at Curtas's 2014 edition, which earned him the Audience Award, and “Yulya” in 2015, this films marks the return of André Marques to Curtas. (JA)
