As odd as it sounds, this is a fair depiction of the Oporto-based musical collective and their anarchic and surrealistic sonic mishmash of punk, free-jazz and electronic, which is the perfect match for António Pedro Ribeiro's poetry. Their gig at Curtas promises an immersive atmosphere in the "murky waters of Francisco Laranjeira's pre-pixeled junk-zapping", as he himself describes the manipulation of super 8 and VHS footage, analog noise, video-feedback and glitch. Images from José Alves de Sousa's "Porto Abril 1975", "O 11 de Março de 1975" and " O 25 de Novembro Depois"..., shot in Oporto during the turbulent years of PREC [Ongoing Revolutionary Process] will be used.
