Euro Connection 2022: Submissions are open

Submissions of short film projects are now open for the 14th edition of Euro Connection, which takes place on 1 and 2 February 2022 during the Short Film Market at the Clermont-Ferrand Festival.

Euro Connection is a platform that aims to help partnerships between European producers and distributors in the production of short films.
Producers who wish to present a project at Euro Connection must send their application via email by October 20, 2021 to their country representative. In Portugal, the associated festivals are IndieLisboa and Curtas Vila do Conde.
All projects must meet the following requirements:
- Short animation, fiction, creative documentary, VR project;
- The lenght must not exceed 30 minutes;
- The project must have part of its financing guaranteed by a third party (external source);
– The producer must be open to international co-productions (suitable project or intended for co-production);
– Filming or production should start from June 2022.
A European jury of 3 industry professionals from different nationalities will then elect up to 13 projects to go to the final and pitch during the festival. The list of finalists will be released to the winners by the end of November 2022.
