Solar - Cinematic Art Gallery will be presenting an exhibition by the Iranian filmmaker Maryam Tafakory, which starts in the same day as the festival and will continue until August 30, and includes a ‘carte blanche’ boy the director with films by herself and other authors. Tafakory presents film, performance and video projects with a documentary basis. Her focus is on thinking about what and who is neglected and erased from History, questioning rules and perceptions about forgotten communities such as women or queer people.
