Reserved exclusively for festival programmers, distributors, sales agents, and invited industry guests, these private screenings showcase nine films from Portugal, Belgium, and Spain that are either in post-production or recently completed and seeking their world premiere.

Organised in collaboration with the Agência – Portuguese Short Film Agency, Wallonie Bruxelles Images, Flanders Image, Acción Cultural Española, the Embassy of Spain in Portugal, and the Galician Agency for Cultural Industries (AGADIC), the Industry Screenings reinforce Curtas Vila do Conde's role as a launchpad for new films and a meeting point between filmmakers and international decision-makers.

The initiative aims to foster the international circulation of these works by creating opportunities for their inclusion in film festival programmes, television broadcasts, streaming platforms, and other specialised exhibition circuits.

This year's selection brings together nine fiction, animation, and experimental films by both established filmmakers and emerging voices in European cinema. Featured directors include Cristèle Alves Meira, Ricardo Leite, Eloy Domínguez Serén, Alexandre Siqueira, Natália Azevedo Andrade, Gábor Mariai, Isa Luengo, Sofia Esteve, Ronni Shalev, Sven Spur, and Santos Díaz.

The programme is accessible by invitation only, providing a dedicated environment that encourages dialogue between filmmakers, producers, and professionals responsible for the international programming and distribution of short films.
