Submissions are now open, until May 15th, for two key activities aimed at Portuguese and Belgian projects. In Development is a competitive platform for short film projects in the early stages of development that are seeking partners, financiers, or co-producers. The selected projects will be presented to industry professionals, and the best project will receive an award decided by an independent jury.

At the same time, applications are also open for Industry Screenings, a programme of private sessions reserved for films in the final stages of production and looking for their world premiere. These screenings are designed to connect filmmakers and producers with festival programmers, distributors, sales agents, and other international decision-makers.

The 2026 edition of Curtas Pro is organised in collaboration with the Agência – Portuguese Short Film Agency, Wallonie Bruxelles Images, and Flanders Image. Selected projects will be notified by June 19th.
