It was one of the special and unrepeatable sessions of Curtas: full house for the reunion of the Vila-Condenses TURBO JUNK I.E., regarding 'Demo Tape'92' – film directed by Paulo Pinto and shown in preview at the festival – concert that featured live visuals by Nuno Tudela. The programme is accompanied by the exhibition 'Turbo Archive', by Cesário Alves, photographer who accompanied the band at the time.

With a career spanning 30 years, the music of Bohren & der Club of Gore contains an unrivalled ability to slow down time. In this visit to Vila do Conde, they revisit the classic of European experimental cinema 'Le Révélateur', Philippe Garrel's greatest (and controversial) work, filmed a few days after the student revolt of May 68 in Germany.

Also noteworthy is Carnival of Souls, an American B-series psychological thriller from the 60s, produced and directed by Herk Harvey, presented in Vila do Conde with an original soundtrack, performed by composer Miaux, with her analogue synthesizers. The two concert films are produced in partnership with the Ghent International Film Festival.

The Stereo programme also features a special session with Austrian experimental filmmaker Billy Roisz, with a presentation by designer and artist Miguel Carvalhais.

Solar - Cinematic Art Gallery also hosted, in the open-air cinema, the film 'In the Shadow II', by Joana X, about Clã, around the process of creating Véspera, the band's most recent album.

From Brazil, Curtas presented 'Miúcha, The Voice of Bossa Nova', by Liliane Mutti and Daniel Zarvos, and 'Elis & Tom', by Roberto Oliveira.
