The film is a co-production between the Portuguese "O Som e a Fúria" and the Swiss "Box Productions" and is set in a Lisbon slum where the main character, Cloud, is "a young man with a particular penchant for wandering and daydreaming" and is named "the village idiot".

Basil da Cunha already has three short films in his filmography, all directed in Switzerland, one of which, "À Côté" (2009), surprised the Portuguese audience in Curtas Vila do Conde 2010, where he won the award for Best Film in the National Competition. "À Côté" was made at the School of Arts and Design in Geneva and presents as a realistic view of a suburban world, following one character - Serguei - and his fight against the loneliness and the passion he has for his next-door neighbor (from who he only hears the voice and the discussions with her boyfriend).

With this selection for the Cannes Film Festival and the prestigious Directors' Fortnight, Basil da Cunha appears as one of the most recent revelations of Portuguese cinema.
