For 30 years Curtas Vila do Conde has stood out for its particular attention to experimental cinema, incorporating in its programme and rewarding, over the years, many of the greatest contemporary authors. With this in mind, Curtas presents at the Waking Life festival, in Crato, a selection of some of the most significant works of this path. The session, which will take place at 1am on Saturday, 20th August, includes the films:

Waking Life, founded in 2017, defines itself as a space for "artistic experimentation, spirited self-expression and collective imagination of the kind of society we might cultivate if there were freedom to diverge from predefined reality".
