Vítor is over thirty and still lives with his mother, Fátima, in the apartment that his grandmother, Júlia, left them. Fátima is an introverted hairdresser who has become accustomed to controlling her emotions with strict discipline. In the mornings, Vítor claps along to a TV show, in the evenings he puts on his neighbor's uniform to satisfy the fantasies of a boy he met online. Júlia no longer knows which drugs to take to get to sleep. Everyone believes that the time has come for them to be happy, but what they want seems to dissolve into thin air.
