In 1937, director Michael Powell shot his first major feature feature “The Edge of the World” on Scotland’s remote island of Foula. In 1978, Michael Powell, accompanied by leading actors John Laurie and Grant Sutherland, revisited Foula to find out what became of the islanders and the impact the film had on their lives.
