Three women – a grandmother, a young woman with a baby and her mother – cross the border from Venezuela into Colombia every week to find something to eat; this time, a packet of pasta. An adaptation on the short story “Tijeras” by Venezuelan author Karina Sainz Borgo, the film underlines that in a world of scarcity, the simple act of cooking pasta can in itself become an act of consequence, something to look for.
