“Atlantic Yellow” is the name of the unique variety of granite from the Mountains of Groba, located along the most southern coast of Galicia. The Cistercian monks built one of their monasteries here, face to face with the ocean, despite the dangers that this place meant in the 12th century. Perhaps they knew that this was a place of powerful cosmo-telluric forces, as well as the need to live in harmony with nature.
