Three short films shot on Super 8 in Peru. “Modern Rose” studies the geometry of an Inca palace and “Huancor” continues the search for petroglyphs at an Andean site, accompanied by a narration that veers towards poetry. “Pakatnamu, Premonition” films a huaca on the shores of the Pacific Ocean: the sacred site affects the camera, and the film captures flickers and exposure flaws that resolve themselves after an offering, culminating in a final movement towards the sea.
