Yerbanga's brother tells him that his bride is gone to the city with her lover, breaking an alliance between the two families. He goes to the city and seeks her there in order to recover his lost honor. After several incidents he finds her and tries to take her home by force. After a fight, yerbanga finds himself in the police station.
