Somewhere between Alabama and Utah in the near future. A man escapes from a nameless prison and starts to look for his girl in a faceless city; on his tail, first the bloodhounds, then their human equivalents, facing him roadblocks, empty dance halls and all embracing indifference to the future of human culture.
