An emigrant, who came to Germany to find work dies at the end of the sixties. While the dead body is being washed, his wife in Turkey dictates a letter to her husband, her great hope. A flashback shows how he leaves his home to travel to Germany. The man's journey ends at the same station to which his dead body is now being brought for the trip back to Turkey.
