Combining live action (Bowers himself in the leading role) and various types of animation (using processes he developed and patented), Bowers demonstrated his comic ingenuity and manic inventiveness in a number of novelty-type comedies produced by the Charley Bowers Comedy Corporation in the mid-twenties.
