A Classic of the vanguard movement of the early 20's, Un Chien Andalou has inspired several generations of independent filmmakers. It is mainly a provocative work, with lots of immediate impact images, which compel the spectator to adopt a participating attitude, or, better than that, an attitude of an authentic and desired belligerence.
