A female cat, homeless and hungry, wanders into the Paris Zoo, where she gets the idea of painting a white stripe down her back to disguise herself as a skunk so that the zoo keeper will feed the way he feeds all the other zoo animals. The scheme works - all too well: soon she is being chased all over the zoo and the park by the amorous Pepe Le Pew, who thinks she is a female skunk. The highlight is when Pepe dons a straw hat and grabs a cane to do an impression of Chevalier singing "Strolling Throught le Park One Day".
