This film offers a broad perspective on the major components of rave: musical events held every weekend in which thousands of young people get together to dance to the sound of techno. Rave's success is the result of positive chemistry among three elements. The first is the application of electronic technology to sound, which has made it possible to produce low-cost music in home studio, using electronic instruments and computers. Secondly, there is the use of the same technology in graphic design and consequent study of synchronization of music and images. The last element is the use of psychoactive substances, and in particular, Ecstasy. An opened up new opportunities for transforming one's ideas in music.
