Tex Avery invented Bugs Bunny, and this cartoon is the third one in which he starred. A hunting dog called Willoughby is on Bugs' tail, but the hare keeps eluding him. This chase story is packed with splendid jokes and physical gags. At times it feels like the protagonists are acting out their parts in some kind of a ritual.
