This cartoon is a true masterpiece, surely among Tex Avery finest moments. It stars his nastiest creation, a horribly mean bulldog who torments a little kitten. A black cat comes to the rescue, and we all know that black cats mean bad luck... Avery uses this film to criticise the sadistic audiences who laugh at the violence in cartoons.
