In this film Bricolo is saved from an attempted suicide by a member of a liars club. He tells him all the troubles he is undergoing because of his last invention. This is a sort of a universal graft which enables: to make a hat out of a tiny straw introduced into someone's head; to grow a Christmas tree out of the handle of a plough; and to create out of the blue a legion of cats around a tree trunk in a pot in order to save a house destroyed by a gang of dangerous mice who always walk around with a gun in their belts.
