Set in the depressing reality of contemporary Poland, the film tells the harsh story of three days in the life of a thirteen year old boy trying desperately to keep the fact that his father beats him in secret. Lonely and with no support from his mother or from school, tyrannised by his sport teacher, the boy finds his only friend in an old stray dog from the kennels.
