Her cinematic narrative of a poet's search for images provides the framework for a critical re-conquest of idyllic Biedermeier landscape. Using breathtaking montage work and elaborated film technology, Bady Minck penetrates deep into the sultry colourfulness of the postcards, yet without ever succumbing to their camped-up charms.
