Ver Ciência is a weekly one-hour television show produced by TV Cultura, in association with the International Association Ver Ciência. It is targeted to young people. The show features international scientific documentaries selected each year from the International Television Science Programme Festival Image & Science and, once a month, a special national 26' presents the work of Brazilian scientists.The programme "Insect & Company" presents five short documentaries shot by professor Robert Eizemberg in the Brazilian Atlantic Forest. The young girl Luciana Schievano, presenter of the show, interviews the professor in the studio and the viewers can send their questions too. The camera goes to the streets to ask questions to people about the insects.The international and the national editions have the same televisual language and format, aiming to get young people interested in Science and Technology.
