The demolition of the Star Theatre at Thirteenth Street andBroadway was filmed in time-lapse from Biograph’s office across the street.Exposures were made every four minute during daylight using a specially devisedelectrical apparatus. Audiences particularly enjoyed in when the film was reversed,showing the building rising from destruction.
