Las Palmas have hit a glitchy 8-bit groove with this music [VID] Video that combines strobing slowmotion, War Games-style retro computer graphics, with fluttering [VID] Video feedback, a smattering of Jenny Holzer-like aphorisms, and pseudo-religious imagery. It is political without being earnest and self important, yet also pretty without being surface and shallow. Watch out for the subliminals.
