A mother and a daughter embark on a farewell process. During the course of several nights out, they burn all the objects that the mother, who is seriously ill, has accumulated throughout the years. Initially, the daughter reacts to this process with some resistance and grief. But she comes to realise that this is the best way of re-entering her mother’s world, of saying goodbye and in the process, of helping her mother free herself from all the memories that keep her tied down. After the mother’s death, the daughter decides to continue with the process, burning everything that belongs to her so that she can start a new path in life.
