Petre is convinced that his son Robert has got the "music in his blood". He tries to enter for Robert the shiny world of Bursuc, the greatest child-star producer of all times, the king of "manele". At first, Robert seems to be quite gifted but during the audition he is affected by the unfamiliar ambience and fails to impress Bursuc. On the way home, the disappointed family has one more shot to express themselves.
