Being a Fairy is not just being beautiful, having wings and a magic wand. Being a Fairy is also helping others, caring for people, animals and plants and even small insects. Only thus you can be a Fairy, and when it is not like that, you can’t be a Fairy anymore. “Film Concert for Oriana, the Fairy” is an animated film whose soundtrack is performed live. It is the result of a joint effort between a group of students from the Academia de Música de S. Pio X and students from the 2D/3D animation technical course at Escola José Régio (year 2). The project aims to allow students some work experience in the production of animated films. It’s all about teamwork - work that requires constant attention and is very demanding. Filme concerto para a Fada Oriana revisits a story using an adaptation process that seeks the original text by using the students’ reading and memory.
