“Applied Theories of Expanding Minds” follows a new tribe in a future Kenya. For a long time the country has been under strong influence from China, but it is now independent and in a state of insurrection. In order to create an alternative to the existing society, its’ members perform actions and rituals based on the changes of the Earth’s magnetic field. The film follows a fanatic group of individuals who has developed their own system of living.
