A man returns from France to Portugal in search of his Mother's grave. Wants to make her an homage. Wants to redeem himself from the past. He searches for the only person who might know where her mother is buried. He founds her, but she knows nothing. When he is ready to give up he has a revelation. The promise must be fulfilled.
