In the Portuguese edition of the novel Campo de sangue (2002) the writer, Dulce Maria Cardoso, states that “beauty can be a pretext to go mad. Beauty and loneliness”. In this short film, all these “elements” will be highlighted: loneliness, beauty, madness and Dulce Maria Cardoso. The pretext for this to happen is another reencounter, a reencounter with a disturbed, unsustainable passion: the one that existed between Dulce Maria Cardoso and Rui, about who her first novel was written.
