Curiously, the shooting date of this Videographic Depression matched the result of the mathematical formula developed by the University of Cardiff to calculate the most depressive day of the year (24 January): 1/8C+(D-d) 3/8xTQ MxNA. To BBC, researchers explained that C is the climate, D is the debt owed, subtracted the paycheck of January (d) and T is the Time that has passed since Christmas. There is still to be considered Q, the time it passed since we failed on an attempt to lose a vice and M, the levels of motivation as well as NA, the Need for Action and to do something about that. In the middle of all this disaster, what else could have happened other than PZ loosing their mind? Thus, the collective gave shape to this visual narrative in which a PZ with a head made out of recycled paper wakes up to a disastrous day, thus proving that the British formula’s validity is, in fact … fictitious. As for the film crew, it seems they all had a lot of fun.
