The video for PAUS' Cume was inspired by the idea of verticality. Given Lisbon's hills, staircases, and surrounding mountain and beach landscapes, SUPERGROUP took advantage of the obvious connections between the lyrical content of Cume, and the geography of Lisbon. Using everyday materials such as cardboard and paper, SUPERGROUP created a two-dimensional world of mountains, musical instruments, and characters, culminating in a scene of euphoric destruction, and a celebration of the ephemeral nature of the world we created in the video.
