Commissioned by the Irish band U2 for the track “Raised by Wolves” within the scope of the project “Films of Innocence” this music video was filmed by Portuguese visual artist Alexandre Farto AKA Vhils at the old Lisnave shipyards, and in Cacilhas and Almada. The video is a personal interpretation of the song. The lyrics describe the aftermath of the bombings by loyalist group Ulster Volunteer Force in Dublin and Monaghan, Republic of Ireland, on 17 May 1974, which left 33 dead. Alexandre Farto's visual interpretation speaks of life and destruction, of personal stories drastically disrupted in a very short time due to circumstances beyond their control, drawing a parallel with the way in which the current economic crisis is affecting southern European countries.
