A former art student and aspiring filmmaker has been earning money by working as a wedding photographer. After 700 weddings, with his hopes running thin, he begins to develop a fetish for brides. With varying success, he becomes involved with some of them, resulting in both happy and unhappy endings. Screened during Critics’ Week at the last Cannes Festival, “From the Diary of a Wedding Photographer” brings the acclaimed Israeli director Nadav Lapid to Vila do Conde for the first time. (PC)
