The director, Maria von Hausswolff, suggests a hypothetical alien trip to a planet where, in the past, there was life. The weird traveller moves aimlessly in a stunning nature that has meanwhile been hidden by darkness, randomly shocking with human figures which are trapped in the dimensions of space and time. These encounters are revealed with moving light, where nature takes over as giant landscape paintings canvases. Filmed in Jutland, a peninsula of Denmark, it is possible to see the woods, the fields and the dunes; landscapes that fade and lead the viewer to feeling disorientation, where space and time are slowed down. Maria von Hausswolff lives and works in Copenhagen and "Alien Tourist" is a work created in the context of a gallery, now transposed to the cinema, and that sets her debut at Curtas Vila do Conde.
