The punk music that acts as soundtrack to a couple's initial images - he waterskiing, she driving the boat - anticipates an accident that seems inevitable, and loudly announces that we are in a F. J. Ossang work. The film, which uses with great beauty the natural scenery of the Azores where it was shot and which features the participation of the Portuguese actor Diogo Dória, presents a convoluted plot, which acts as a mirror of the mental state of the main character, the unfortunate victim of the first sequence. When he wakes up from a coma - it's never really clear if he did recover or not, in a wink to the viewer which elevates the film’s hallucination and disorientation - and leaves searching for his girlfriend, he sees himself amidst exotic characters, lost in a labyrinthine limbo, in which instead of finding dead ends he faces doors to strange realities. By creating an atmosphere between a dream and a nightmare, which brings to mind the dystopia of Lars von Trier's "The Element of Crime", the film alternates between surreal moments of delusional science fiction and small poetic compositions, highlighting the camera’s freedom, as he builds his own mythology from cinematic iconography.
