This is the remarkable story of an inseparable bond and the unshakable faithful relationship and affection between a man and his motorbike. The bike, christened La Persistente, and the relationship itself, are naturally the envy of everyone they meet, particularly if they happen to be a group of restless adolescents looking to mark their territory. From the moment the group takes his bike, the leading character has only one mission: to get his travelling companion back, at any price. An unconventional adventure unfolds, following the uncertain trail of a surreal, sensory object along the paths of desire and possession, echoing the films of David Lynch yet perversely original. If the freedom to travel with no fixed destination is momentarily disturbed and transformed into solitude, this is resolved in the plot of the film, which develops in a mysterious, unsettling and even violent atmosphere, taking surprising and impulsive twists in the treacherous mountainous landscape of the French Pyrenees.
