Excerpt from a collective film, “Border project” is a provocative school project, directed while Lapid was still attending the Sam Spiegel Film & Television School, which includes stories from both sides of the border: the film was shot in the filmmaker's school and features a janitor who is being asked several questions. Apparently, there's nothing noteworthy happening, but as you look closer you notice that the conversation is being held in two different languages and that there's an interpreter, thus rendering this piece of film a reflection on the power of language and on the huge class difference that characterises the Israeli–Palestinian conflict.
