A reflection on time and on the insignificance of our lives on the macroscopic scale of the universe. Yet, through cinema (and poetry), this film takes a look at our (fragile) ability to create a language and live together. For director Davor Sanvincenti, the dialectic between light and darkness — also suggested by the images and the way they are used — is fundamental to understand both the universe and film, but also ourselves. By adding multiple quotations from several authors, including Rainer Maria Rilke, Jean Audouze and Jean-Claude Carrière, the film proposes a reflection on the human condition from a philosophical point of view.
