A strange, uneasy figure walks indefinitely toward us. It may be either a person or a devil. The cross it holds in its hand brings to mind myths and old folktales. In his new film, Adrián Canoura takes the story of the Galician Santa Compaña and the poems of Rosalía de Castro as the starting point to create a diffuse film that generates a feeling of strangeness and a sense of curse that rhymes with the days of yore. After the world premiere at Filmadrid, "Caerán Lóstregos Do Ceo" arrives at Curtas' Experimental Competition, hence marking Canoura's debut in the festival. (DR)
