This is a visual, sentimental and literal journey through the places of Mafamude that David Bruno’s song evokes. Through a series of fixed plans that follow one another in a musical thread, we visit the scenarios that will later make the script of a promised romantic night. Even before hearing the proposal, we are already convinced by this construction of a mythology of its own and the reconquest of a recognizable imaginary. We are in the suburbs and, after all, the neons, the buildings and the drive-through could be in New Jersey, but they are in Vila Nova de Gaia. (JA)
